Our 2nd Year Ph.D. Student Raj (Keerthiraju Ethiraju Ravichandran), along with research collaborator Prof. Dr. Raffael Schaffrath and his team members from Kassel, Germany have just published a review article entitled “Roles of Elongator Dependent tRNA Modification Pathways in Neurodegeneration and Cancer”.

The review provides insights into the molecular functions of the Elongator complex and the role of Elongator dependent tRNA modification in human diseases, focussing on Neurodegeneration and Cancer. The article notably describes that the Elongator dependent tRNA modifications are not only required for human brain cell function, but also for cancer cell function.
