Originally a Molecular Biologist working on MicroRNA modulation on lung cancer, I was intrigued by how the cell worked at it’s smallest scale as cell culture can only tell us so much… I am now working on how does Elp3 modify the uridine on tRNA on position 34 in order to understand how the lack of modification leads to diseases such as cancer or neurodegenerative diseases. I am passionate about understanding new things, be it biochemical mechanisms or the rules of a new culture – both, new discoveries or new languages are always welcome.
