This year EMBO Young Investigators RNA and Structural Biology Sectorial Meeting took place in Heidelberg, Germany. Sebastian Glatt and Ania Biela went to represent our team. The meeting was very intense but very friendly: we could share unpublished data and learn about the latest projects from the top laboratories in Europe. Apart from science, we discussed recent pressing issues such as influence of AI on research and academia or the reviewing process: both from the reviewer and the author side. We had also the opportunity to enjoy local German food during dinner in Roter Ochsen Restaurant in the city center.
