I joined Glatt Lab as a PhD Student in November 2021. My project is focused on deciphering the structure and biochemistry of enzymes adding rare modifications to tRNA, and looking for the answer how these modification influence the translation machinery.Previously I worked with Prof. Ada Yonath at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel on the structure of the ribosome from anaerobic bacteria. Then I moved to Dr. Moran Shalev-Benami Lab where I obtained my Master’s degree on the structural and functional studies of Bestrhodopsins, novel rhodopsin family found in unicellular algae.
