I joined the Max Plank Research Group in 2021 as a Grants Officer and Administrative Specialist.

My primary responsibilities include analyzing projects from a financial perspective, reviewing budgets and financial data, verifying expenditures, and providing administrative support to the group’s ongoing projects. In addition to my role in the Max Planck Research Group, I also serve as a Lab Manager/ Administrator in the Azuma Group. There, I ensure the smooth operation of laboratory activities, mentor researchers in good laboratory practices, and offer administrative support to the group’s current projects.

I am a certified accountant and HR specialist, as well as a Health & Safety Officer and internal auditor. Prior to my current roles, I spent many years in the private sector, specifically in the construction industry. I was responsible for organizing and managing international projects and construction sites abroad, and I conducted both financial and HSE audits.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
