Marcin Jaciuk

After finishing biotechnology on Jagiellonian University I have moved to Warsaw for a PhD in the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of Polish Academy of Sciences. My work mainly focused on studying bacterial nucleotide excision repair pathway and was done in the Laboratory of Protein Structure in the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology. For a postdoc I came back to Krakow to Max Planck Research Group. My current work focuses on structural studies of eukaryotic Elongator complex.
My other hobbies, apart from lab life ;), are various sport activities, mostly mountain biking and scuba diving. I am also interested in all sorts of new technologies which help both in work and life.
