Since childhood, I have been fascinated by the mysterious and unknown world of biology. That’s why I made the decision that I would like to become part of the world of science. In 2021, I completed my master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology at the Jagiellonian University. My thesis project was related to virus-like particles as universal nanocarriers for nucleic acids. This project broadened my scientific interests and my fascination with structural biology. I am currently a PhD student in the Max Planck Research Group. My project is entitled „Structural characterization of tRNA thiolation in eukaryotes”. In this project I am studying the small CTU1/CTU2 (Ncs2/Ncs6) protein complex, which is involved in the important sulfur modification of tRNA. I try to investigate the mechanism of tRNA thiolation through biochemical and structural analysis.
Outside of the world of science, I am an artistic soul who loves all the dogs in the world. My greatest hobby is painting, cartoon drawing and artistic makeup. I do yoga to relax my body and eat pasta to relax my soul.
