After finishing Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Hyderabad, India, the fascination grew more towards the field of Gene expression and regulation. Afterward, I worked as a Project-Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at CSIR-CCMB, Hyderabad, India to characterize the in vivo role of “translational proofreaders” and eventually got interested in ubiquitin proteasome system, which regulates the cellular proteome by virtue of ubiquitin tagging system. I became captivated by the ubiquitin biology and joined for my doctoral studies at MCB through a very prestigious Implementation PhD Program in collaboration with Captor Therapeutics, Wrocław.
