I’m a PhD student at Max Planck Research Group in Kraków. I moved to structural biology from oncology. The main focus of my current research is Kti12 – a regulatory protein of the Elongator complex. Together they enable a cm5 modification of the wobble U34 in a number of tRNA species. I have an ambition to tell a fascinating story of Kti12-related regulation of Elongator activity using structural-based approaches such as X-ray crystallography and Cryo-EM.
Outside of the lab, I tend to swim, read science-fiction and philosophy books and play strategy games.
