Stuti Patel

I completed my PhD in Biotechnology in 2021 at Sardar Patel University in India. After that, I joined the Protein Crystallography Research Group (Dubin Lab) at the Małopolska Centre of Biotechnology in 2022, diving deeper into the fascinating world of structural biology. Since July 2025, I’ve been part of the Max Planck Research Group, where I’m exploring the role of tRNA thiolation in human disease. My work is driven by a curiosity for how molecular structures shape biological function—and how small changes can lead to big consequences in health and disease.

Outside of research, I enjoy drawing and experimenting with new flavors and recipes in the kitchen.
